National Fruit & Vegetable Month

From asparagus to zucchini, there’s a ton of fruits and vegetables that taste excellent when grilled alongside your Scott Pete sausages and hot dogs.

Whether you’re looking for a smoky topping for your hot dogs (grilled pineapple and jalapeños?), a flame-kissed side dish (grilled corn on the cob?), or a recipe that combines everything at once (grilled skewers of sausage, peppers, onions and mushrooms?), June is perhaps the greatest month to light it up.

Not only is it the official start of summer, June is also—very appropriately—National Fresh Fruit and Vegetables Month! Backyard gardens are starting to yield goodies, farmer’s markets are bursting with produce and the evenings are long and warm and perfect for grilling.
